Barry D. Ballard, MD, FACS
Dr. Barry D. Ballard is a native Mobilian and joined SAMPA in 2016. He graduated Cum Laude from Auburn University in 2006. He then graduated from the University of South Alabama, College of Medicine in 2011 and completed his general surgery residency at the University of South Alabama Medical Center in June 2016.
Dan Lane, MD, FACS, FASMBS
Dr. Dan Lane, FACS, is a native Mobilian. Dr. Lane is a general and bariatric surgeon and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons, and serves as the clinical assistant professor of surgery for the College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama.
Forrest Ringold, MD, FACS, FASMBS, DABS-FPMBS
Dr. Forrest Ringold, FACS, is a native Alabamian. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons, and is a clinical instructor for the Department of Surgery at the University of South Alabama. He previously served on the board of the Medical Society of Mobile County.
Dusty Smith, MD, FACS
Dr. Dusty Smith is a native of Bay Minette, Alabama. Dr. Smith graduated from the University of South Alabama Medical School in 2007 and then completed her surgical residency at USAMC in 2012. Dr. Smith is certified by the American Board of Surgery and awaits induction into the American College of Surgeons.
Gregory Quatrino, MD, FACS
Dr. Gregory Quatrino focuses on diseases of the colon and rectum. After successfully completing his residency as an Administrative Chief Resident at the University of South Alabama, he is also on the Burn and Trauma Peer Review Committee.
Our Nurses
Jill Hawkins, CRNP
Jill Hawkins, CRNP, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mobile in 1996 and her Masters of Nursing in Science from the University of South Alabama in 2010. Jill is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Alison Holland, CRNP
Alison received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1996 from The University of Mobile and her Master of Science in Nursing / Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2011 from The University of South Alabama.
Claudia Fantucci, CRNP
Claudia joined SAMPA in July 2019. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013 from Cumberland University and recently graduated from the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Troy University. Her extensive experience includes time in the Emergency, Telemetry, Neurological, Orthopedics, and Medical-Surgical departments.
